I want to study BTech course from Vellore Institute of Technology. But I have heard that the course fee is very high. Is it true? Kindly let me know about the course fee expenses of this BTech course of this institute.

VIT University had divided B.Tech specializations into two categories i.e. Group A and Group B.

In Group A, following engineering branches are there.

• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
• Fashion Technology (available at Chennai campus only)
• Civil Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Biotechnology
• Biomedical Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering (Spec. in Bioinformatics)

In Group B, following engineering branches are there.

• Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Automotive Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering with Spec. in Information Security
• Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Data Analytics
• Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Networks and Security
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering with Spec. in Internet of Things and Sensors
• Mechanical Engineering

Fee Structure of Group A branches

• Tution Fees (per annum) - INR 1,73,000
• Caution Deposite (Refundable) - INR 3,000
• Total Fees to be paid for first year - INR 1,76,000

Fee Structure of Group B branches

• Tution Fees (per annum) - INR 1,95,000
• Caution Deposite (Refundable) - INR 3,000
• Total Fees to be paid for first year - INR 1,98,000

Total fee expenses for the entire course of "BTech program" in Vellore Institute of Technology is Rs. 7,80.000
