I want to know about the fees of 3 years mba course from IGNOU and the admission procedure after clearing the openmat exams

MBA from IGNOU consists of total 21 programs, which is divided into 5 semesters. These 21 programs are classified as follows :


Eleven courses in PGDIM (MS-1 to MS-11)
5 courses from anyone of the specialization
Compulsory Courses (MS-91, MS-95)
One elective course (MS-92/93/94/96/97)
Project Course (MS-100), which is equivalent to 2 courses.


Its fee structure is as below :

Rs. 700/- per course & Rs. 1400/- for MS-100 (i.e for Project Course)


After successfully clearing the OPENMAT exam, IGNOU will send a notification to you regarding to the further admission procedure.

IGNOU's SOMS: School Of Management Studies conducts so many programmes in management field. Not Post-graduation but Diploma/ Certification and doctoral degrees are offered by it.
You may seek the entire list here:

And there is no age bar. If you clear the openmat conduted by IGNOU itself then you will not need to clear any other exam like CAT/MAT etc.

Hello, I just wanted to know when the open mat of MBA will be held and how could I appear in it?

Actually my question is i read that ignou conducted entance test for MBA twise a year,the first notification is released on decenber and exam conducted on february.Can pls tell me the second notification month and exam conducted month for mba?

vit is compulsory to take the CAT exam if you want to join IIM's
for CAT application you have to pay RS 1400
the can application can be done on line via www.catiim.in
usually CAT will be conducted in year ends only , you will be notifies regarding the date of applications
other than CAT for MBA you can opt for the entrances such as

XAT - xavoiur institute
SNAP - symbiosys
TISS - tata institute
JMET - DOMS IIT's
TANCET - TN colleges etc.
