Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted for selecting the eligible candidates for the M.E/M.Tech courses. Those who are applying for this exam should be either a B.E/B.Tech graduate from a recognized institute. The percentage of marks required to apply for this course is 50%. The reserved category candidates need to score only 45% at the graduation level to attend the PGCET exam. Those who are pursuing final year of engineering can also apply for this exam. The selection will be based on the performance in the written examination.

PGCET 2012 :

The govt of Karnataka has decided to conduct the post graduate common entrance test for the this year
This medical entrance exam conducted to provide admissions in post - graduate medical courses
it is held only in bangalore

Exam pattern :

it consists of 200 objective type questions offered one marks each with timing = of 3hrs

Eligibility :

Candidates should have an degree in BDS from any college with in karnataka recognized by the dental council of India

Fee :
registration fee for SC/ST : Rs400/-
Others :Rs.1500/-

Important dates:

PGCET Entrance test for MDS will be conducted on :12th Feb ,2012
Application forms will be available : 4th Week of Nov , 2011
Last date of receive application by post : 3rd week of Nov , 2011

our community comes under OBC in state government only? it does not come under central government ? am i belonged to OBC for gate to take seat through PGCET KARNATAKA ?

PGECET is a AP State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into Regular PG Courses in :

Engineering
Technology
Architecture
Pharmacy
Planning

The examination is conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory Body of the Government of A.P., Hyderabad.

Eligibility :

You should be a Indian Nationality and belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Youshould have a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from any recognized university.

Important dates :

Submission & Registration of Online Applications Start From 14-03-2012.
Last Dates to submit PGECET 2012 forms without late fee: 23rd April 2012.
Last Dates to submit PGECET 2012 forms with late fee of Rs. 500: 5th May 2012.
Last Dates to submit PGECET 2012 forms with late fee of Rs. 2000: 14th May 2012.
PGECET 2012 Hall Ticket Download: 21st May to 5th June 2012.

Pattern of the examination :

The PGECET question paper contains multiple choice objective type test paper of 2 hours duration and carry a maximum of 120 marks.The examinations will be based on the subjects studied by you in your graduation level.

Yes,you can apply for Civil Service exam,if your age is also between 21 to 30 years to become a IAS officer.Civil Service exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once to take qualified students into different service post in government sector.

Civil Service exam is consist of Preliminary exam and Main exam.Preliminary exam notification release in the month of February and exam will held on May moth every year and Main exam will held on September every year.

Notification details for this year:
Preliminary exam notification released on 11th Feb 2012,closes on 5th March 2012 and exam will held on 20th May 2012.
After clearing the Preliminary exam,you will eligible for Main exam.
Main exam will held on 16th Sept 2012.
