No, there will be no problem in the selection procedure of the Civil Services examination as it is common among the candidates.

IAS examination is conducted by the Civil Services examination every year and the examination is among the toughest examination and the candidates need to qualify in the examination for the final selection. The candidates can have the maximum of six attempts between the 21-30 years for the general category candidates.

The examination is conducted in the three stages as the Preliminary, Mains and the Interview as the first two stages are the written stages there is no problem in these stages as for the gap.

But sometimes you have to go through the questions of the gap year reason in the interview but it is not the crucial factor for the selection. So prepare for the examination.

No, there is nothing to worry about or taking tension for having gap of three years between studies for the Civil Services examination. But you should have a valid reason for that along with supporting documents.

Suppose if you clear the preliminary, mains exam then in interview, the interviewer may ask for the reason why did you have gap between studies.

You need to be a graduate to apply for the most toughest entrance exam of India known as Civil Services exam. The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 21 years and upper age limit depends upon category to which you belong.

Gapping does not any matter for the Civil Service examination. To be eligible for this exam,it is must to have a bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognised university with good percentile.

If you have this much qualifications then gap does play any role for this exam. You can start preparing well and can give this exam .
