I am 12'th standard student pls tell me the procedure to admission in hotel manegement after 12'th

One can be in this field if he get the minimum prescribed qualification is graduation with 50% marks.

There are also direct admission in some institution and thereafter they trained and finaly the studentss get the job.

The Educational qualifiacation is that the candidae must pass 10+2.For certificate, diploma and bachelors courses 10+2 is sufficient.

Those with graduation can go for post graduate diploma courses the duration of which is one year.

Selection to most government recognised institutes is based on common entrance test. Test consists of English, Reasoning, General Science and General Knowledge.

Some of the good Hotel Management Institutes are :-

You can do either certificate or diploma or bachelors courses in hotel management after passing 10+2. Duration of certificate courses is six months to one year. Bachelor and diploma courses are of duration one and half to three years.

To get admission in these courses you need to apply to the institute offering these courses in the prescribed application form. Selection to most government recognised institutes is based on common entrance test while the private institutes conduct their own entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria required for the course of hotel management is given below:

Education Qualification
1. Candidates who have passed the 12th board examination or have appeared in the 12th board examination are eligible to apply for the hotel management course.

AGE LIMIT:
The students up to the age of 22 years are eligible to apply for the Hotel management course. For the SC/ST candidates there is a relaxation of 3 years.

Selection Criteria
The selection by most of the government institute are based on the entrance test.

Test Format
The test is based on following subjects:
English,

Reasoning,

General Science

General Knowledge.

The duration of the test is of 2 hours .

The date of entrance test will be published on the employment news paper. So you have to check the employment paper regularly.

After Completing Your 12th, If You Are Interested To get Admission In Hotel Management, Then You Are Eligible. The Minimum Eligiblity Creteria For HM Course In 12th Pass with Minimum 50% Marks, Only then You will Get Admission In B.sc Hotel Management Course.

So, If You Are Interested In HM Course, Then I will Suggest You Just Appear For IIHM Entrance Exams After 12th, Because IIHM conducts a Common Entrance test for Admission In Undergraduate Programmes.

So, If Your Age Is More than 17 years And If You Are In Your Final Year Exams, Then You Can Also Eligible To Appear In IIHM CET Exams To Get Admission In Hotel Management Courses. So, After 12th Anyone Can Apply for Hotel Mangement Courses.

Yes of course you can join Hotel Management no matter which stream you have undertaken in your 12th.But candidates who have passed 10+2 with English as a subject and who are pursuing their 12th with their age below 17 are only eligible for the examination conducted by the IIHM.

if 12th standard you can do the hotel management. the minimum percent required for this is 50.if you are in hm coures then i thinhk you you to appear in a IIHM entrance exam

To apply for this course the candidate needs to be 12th pass. There is an upper age limit of 22 years for some of these exams. For most institutes it is a must to have at least 50% marks. You may need to appear for the entrance exams like NCHMCT JEE, CIHMCT etc. Please read all the instructions before applying for these tests.

after completion of your class 12 you may go for graduation in hotel management if you are interested. you may do B.Sc in hotel management. some other degree also available for the Hotel management according to the university. the name of the degree may be different but all are almost similar and graduation in hotel management.


there is one common entrance examination for management study. the name of the examination is IIHM. you may appear in this examination after class 12th and according to the rank you may take admission in hotel management.

the eligibility criterion to appear in IIHM examination is candidate should have minimum of 50% marks in 12th. if you can fulfill the eligibility criterion then appear in the examination.

there are so many university which have hotel management course and they do not have any entrance examination or they may arrange entrance examination different only for that university. you may also try for that type of university.

Doing hotel management after 12 is a good option. To take admission in hotel management course Applicants should be at least 18 years of age.

For taking admission in hotel management a candidate must be required to appear for an All-India Joint Entrance Examination (April), conducted by NCHM.
