Hii,

Cat exam is for the MBA entrance if you want to do preparation for that just study about your apptitute and the English their are two section in this exam one is Appti and other one is English..

CATE as an exam will try to evaluate students on their aptitude for literature. Of course, some parts of the test will evaluate students on their knowledge but a larger section will consist of evaluating aptitude

For this CATE exam there was no specific syllabus is prescribed from university, but you should be on practicing questions based on English literature and grammar.

This is one of the exams conducted by the DU. This is part of the admission procedure for candidates who wish to join for the BA in English course offered by various institutes affiliated to the DU. There is not fixed pattern for the same. But you can expect questions related to verbal ability. This will include grammar, vocabulary, comprehension etc. You could refer to the past papers for the same.
