i am doing my degree 1st year.but now i want to appear for income tax exams so am i eligible

Eligibility for Applying in Income Tax Officer Exam

Nationality - Indian.

Educational qualification :- You must be Graduation/Degree pass out in any stream from recognized university.

Marks :- Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.

Age :-

>>Your minimum age should be 18 years.
>>Your age should not be above 28 years.

You will also able to get the age relaxation facility if you comes under the reserved category as per government norms.Its details are :-

>>For SC/ST category - 5 years
>>For OBC category - 3 years.
>>For Physically Handicapped/Widows - 5 years.

In order to appear in this exam,you will have to apply for SSC CGL(Combined Graduate Level) Exam.

Its Exam Notification will come from 19th March 2013.
Exam Fee - Rs 100 for General/OBC Category and for SC/ST - Rs 50 Only.
