Can i joind for NDA after in 10th...could u please tell me the details

dear friend,
sorry! the minimum eligibility criteria for giving the NDA exam is given as below:-

-the candiadte must passed class 12th with 60% minimum marks.
-the age limit for the candidate is 16 1/2 - 19 years .
-the candidate must not be physically handicaped.
-the candidate must be a citizen of india..

so, the candidate who fullfill the above criteria can give written exam for NDA...

so, all the best first of all complete your 12th and then give NDA exam...

SORRY BUT YOU CANNOT AS YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE YOUR 10+2 LEVEL BOARD EXAM ....

HERE'S THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA THAT YOU MUST POSSES:

NDA Eligibility

Nationality : Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : “Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible”.


Educational Qualifications : (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

3 Yrs at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs at AFA Hyderabad (For AF cadets)


So you are not eligible .

No, you can not join NDA after passing 10th as the minimum academic qualification for NDA is 12th.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to India Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

So as you are interested for NDA then you have to first complete 12th in order to apply for NDA.

Candidate must have completed their 12th science with atleast 60% from recognise board.

Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

Age should be Between 16.5 to 19 years.

Citizen of India.

Exam Pattern:

A pass in 12th class is the minimum qualification for NDA exam. Those who have completed HSC course in science can apply for air force and Indian navy also. Lower age limit is 16 and half years. Those above 19 years are not eligible for NDA. Further details can be collected from the web portal of UPSC.
