CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year and this examination is Conducted to the Recruitment of these Academy :

To apply for IMA/OTA, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination.

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II examination.

To apply for CDS examination,the candidate need to complete their bachelor's degree or Bachelor's of engineering of a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

CDS examination is conducted for admission to the following Posts :-

• Indian Military Academy
• Indian Naval Academy
• Indian Air force Academy

To apply for Military Academy,the candidate must hold Bachelor's degree with any desire subject like B.Sc,B.C.A,B.Com,Final year of degree course may also eligible to apply.

C.D.S. - Combined Defense Services.

Generally CDS consist of the following types :

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air force.

Eligibility Criteria :-

1. Age ::

19 to 23 years as on 01 july 2012 i.e. born between 2nd july 1989 to 1 July 1993(both dates inclusive).

2. Educational Qualification ::

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed 10+2 th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

3. Physical Standard ::

i.) Height : minimum 162.5 cm and more than this
ii.) Weight : in between 60 to 80 kg
iii.) Vision : minimum visual acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in another
eye

CDSE is an exam conducted by UPSC which can be expanded as Combined Defense Services exam to choose persons for taking part in defense services of India. To be eligible to appear in this exam you must have passed your graduation from a recognized university. Your age must be above 19yrs and below 23yrs. You can apply to this exam by getting the application form from the UPSC website. i.e. http://www.upsc.gov.in

yes, my friend you can apply for CDS exam after completion of B.Sc in computer science.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam:-

For I.M.A-

*Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.
*age should be in between 19-24 years.

For Navy academy:-

*Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field or in science field.
*age should be in between 19-22 years.

For Air force academy:-

*Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have had maths and physics in 12th.
*Age should be in between 19-23 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
