i have complted msc chemisty through correspondance now how to apply for net entrance exams?

You can apply for NET through UGC portal. Master’s degree from any of the recognized University is the required qualification. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 55% marks. Next exam will be conducted in the month of May. This year one could submit applications till March 25.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. You have completed M.Sc degree in chemistry so you are applicable for NET Exam but your degree must be recognized and you have fulfill all criteria for NET ,. You can apply in NET exam in 1)JRF 2)Lectureship .So you can choose as per your decision . Age criteria for NET Exam:- i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years . Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC . ii) Lectureship : There is no upper age limit . Recently December session result is announced by UGC so after one or two moth they will announced the JUNE NET Exam schedule . The acronym for NET is National Eligibility Test. Yes, definitely you are eligible for NET examination after completion of your post-graduation in M.Sc Chemistry. The National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination in India for postgraduate contenders who wish to qualify for admission in Ph.D research and/or university level teaching jobs in India. UGC(University Grants Commission) conducts NET examination twice every year in the months of June and December. NET examination is conducted for these two posts:- * Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). * Lectureship. The eligibility criteria required for the NET examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of post-graduation in any discipline with 55% marks from any UGC recognized university. * 5% marks relaxation is granted for SC/ST contenders. * Final year contenders are also eligible. * Age limit:- 20-28 yrs - JRF. * For Lectureship, age limit is not required. * Nationality:- Indian.
