I have lost my original class 10 mark sheet. How should I apply to get a new mark sheet copy? Do I need to file FIR for this and then apply via my school? What should I do? Please, guide.

You need to visit your school and will have to give them a written application indicating the below mentioned:
Your year of passing.
your name and your parents name as it is in your marksheet.
your roll number.
if you have passing certificate then attach that.
If you have any photocopy of your marksheet you can attach that for reference.
Give the appliction to your principal and he will let you know when you will be getting your new marksheet.And if there would be any further things to do for the same,he will inform you.
