Hello Sir, I am Atul, I am going to complete 12th class in Arts stream. My dream is to become a Driver / Loco Pilot in Indian Railways. Please tell me how can I become Driver or Loco Pilot in Indian Railways? I need your Guidance.

Engine driver or Locopilot post in Indian Railways is filled through RRB exam conducted regularly by zonal railways. You can appear for that exam and qualify it to become trainee of locopilot.

You will have to qualify Written Exam and then Personal Interview to become trainee.

After 12th, you can do ITI in Fitter/Electrician/Mechanic to apply for RRB exam. Other than ITI, you can also do Diploma in engineering stream.

***Eligibility criteria RRB LP (Loco Pilot ):-

# #Contenders must 10th pass and possess ITI Certification (approved by
NCVT / SCVT), or Diploma Engineering except for CSE or Civil disciplines.

## Age bar:- 18 to 30 years .

--Age relation:-

i)OBC candidates will get relaxation for 3 years

ii)SC/ST applicants will get age relaxation by 5 years.

##Only Indian nationals can apply for RRB LP entrance exam

--Contenders need to pay an estimate fee of INR 100 and need to apply online
mode through official website.
