hello...you don't need to be a maths wizard to crack cat....you just need to get your basic level maths till 10th crystal clear to crack quantitative section....first go back to those books to get your concepts clear then you can switch to tailor made books for cat.....

Hi
If you want do well in this section you need to practice High School Level Mathematics and certain chapters of higher secondary. You can purchase NCERT books of standards 9th to 12th for taking CAT preparation. O.P. Sinhal books also help you a lot.
You must have to hard work for this section as you said that in12th you dont have maths.
But this is not so hard.
Be positive and hope for best result.
Good luck

Quantitative section in CAT exam covers only 3 section in Mathematics.

They are: Algebra,Arithmetic and Geometry

You can buy maths book of +2 which contain the essence of it.

Second option is to get the solved question papers of CAT exam and keep on practicing it till you become familiar with those topics.

Solved model papers of cat exams are now available on many websites.
You can download it and learn

You can also buy some tutorial books for CAT which deals in depth of step by step method of solving problems with practice exercises and answers.

If you have strong determination, then you can achieve your goal.

Quants are considered as toughest to crack in CAT entrance exam. Every year lots of students are not able to score in this section so they have to score in other sections

But there are some tips which if you follow then you can surely crack that section. The questions are mainly from chapters Number System and Progresstion. Try to focus on these 2 chapters. There are some 10 questions on these 2 chapters.

and ofcourse you will have to work hard and you will also need to solve lots of problem. Better join some good coaching like IMS,TIME they will surely help you out in this matter
