How can I apply for Indian Navy Force? What is the requirement?
I appear in higher secondary examination in science stream in this year 2013,can i apply for indian navy force? What is its requirment? I am physically fit.how can i apply?

Hai,
A 12th standard completed student is eligible for Indian Navy through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, this exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) 2times in a year. There are three differant types of wings in NDA exam, those are: Indian Navy, Indian AirForce, Indian Army. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised university or board. For the wings Indian Navy and AirForce you need to complete your 12th standard with PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects from a recognised university or board. You must be physically fit. Candidate's age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible, girls are not eligible. Nationality:- Applicant must be a citizen of India, Or A subject of bhutan, Or A subject of nepal, Or A tibetian refugee who came over india permanently. If your join in Indian Army qualify in the NDA examination
NDA stands National Defence Academy NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year NDA I is conducted in April NDA II is conducted in August NDA Exam conducted for following Three wings : Indian Navy Indian Airforce Indian Army Eligibility Criteria : The candidates must be Indian The candidates must be complete 12th stands from a recognized University Indian Navy & Airforce : The candidates must be complete 12th stands with PCM from a recognized University There is no percentage restrictions The candidates age limit between 16.5 to 19 years There is no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidates Only unmarried male candidates eligible for apply Selection Process : Written Test SSB Interview Medical Test Written Test : Mathematics : Max Marks 300 , Duration 21/2 hrs General Ability : Max Marks 600 , Duration 21/2 Interview : 900 Mark |

To apply for the Indian Navy first you can crack the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defense Academy. This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I and NDA - II NDA have three wings i.e. Indian Air Force Indian Army Indian Navy Eligibility criteria:- The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognized university. Percentage is not required for this exam. PCM subjects are required for the Indian Navy & Airforce wings. Applicant must be a citizen of India. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no upper age relaxation. For India Airforce and Navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army. Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible. Selection procedure:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. Syllabus:- Mathematics--> 300 marks, General ability--> 600 marks. Total 900 marks.
