If you have completed graduation then you are eligible to join CBI branch but you should qualify in SSC CGL exam. CGL is conducted tier I and II exam. You should qualify in both exam. After qualify in tier I and II, you can attend in personal interview. So if you once cracked the interview round then you become a CBI officer.

Details of CBI recruitment exam is given below-

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation. CBI exam is conducted by SSC through CGL exam.

Those candidate who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.

Your age should be in between 17 to 21 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

If you want to become a crime branch officer then, you should have to apply for the CBI examination. CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation. This exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed at least their bachelor degree in any discipline from the recognized university are eligible to sit for this examination.

Final year candidates are also applicable for the same.

Minimum age of candidates should be at least 20 years. And is should not exist 27 years.

Relaxation for reserved category applicable as per government rule.

Exam stages:
  1. Preliminary exam
  2. Main exam and
  3. Personal Interview
