How can I become a RTO officer if I am a automobile engineer?


sir, an automobile engineer have any preference for becoming a RTO officer than other engineering departments?

Being an automobile engineer, you can apply for the post of Brake Inspector .

Brake Inspector is one of the post in State Roads and Transport department.Brake Inspector Exam is conducted by each state according to their vacancies in the particular department.One who clear this exam is appointed as Brake Inspector for Inspection of new vehicle for registration and renewal too.

The eligibility criteria required to become Brake Inspector Exam are as under:-

-The candidate must have completed graduation degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

-The candidate must have practical knowledge of servicing brakes and its inspection and performance test.

-The candidate should hold Heavy driving license with 2 year experience.

-The candidates age limit to apply for the exam should be in between 21 years to 30 years.


The syllabus or the exam consists of :

Aptitude

Reasoning

General English

Current Affairs
