If you want to pursue Company Secretary course, you will have to undergo three stages:

[B]Foundation Program
Executive Program
Professional Program[/B]

If you are a graduate, you are eligible to register directly for Executive Program.

The institute offers the course through distance learning process and therefore, you can pursue the course along with you job but, the course also includes 15 months practical training, which must be done to complete the course and become a member of ICSI.

I WANT INFORMATION OF CS COURSE MEANS HOW TO START AFTER GRADUATION

i completed my pg in mcm so how can i get admission in cs i mean in executive program or in professional program..

After completing 10 2, I have done diploma in Electronics Engg. Later on (based on my experience) , I have done my MBA(IT) through Distance Education from Sikkim Manipal University. Do I need to enroll in Foundation Progam for persuing CS or I can enroll for executive Proram

how can i do company secretary course with doing partime job is it posible ?

first you have to make registration in icsi nd thn after they will provide you a material you can prepare through that material nd work hard nearly 3-4 hours per day.

You can get into well-paid positions in the private and public corporate sector, banks and financial institutions, stock exchanges, the Department of Company Affairs, company law boards and government departments.
The job positions begin with Junior Secretarial officer, Company Secretary, to Financial Advisor.

Now i am taking coaching for IAS but i an interested to company secretary.. so please suggest me how should i opt for both the courses?

Students with 10+2 qualification have to register for the Foundation Course of Company Secretaryship, whereas graduates can skip the Foundation level and directly enrol for the Executive level. Since you possess MBA, you can enrol for the Executive level.

COMPANY SECRETARY or IAS

company secretary course is a distance learning course.
you should concentrate on one IAS or on CS .
As these two are quite different from each other.

IAS preparation need deep knowledge about country and detail knowledge about his/her own chosen subjects.

whereas

company secretary need to study subjects like English and Business Communication
Economics and Statistics,Financial Accounting
Elements of Business Laws and Management etc.

A qualified company secretary has responsibilities in legal, secretarial, finance, accounts, personnel and administrative departments of companies or other organisations in the private and the public sector.

choose one career out of both.

Your ambition to pursue both IAS and Company Secretary course is really commendable.

However, I would suggest that you concentrate on only one out of the two and devote your full attention.

If your basic degree is in the line of subjects covered in Company Secretary, you should focus on Company Secretary course.

Remember, this is not a competitive exam. Whoever qualifies is admitted as a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries. Persons holding this qualification are immediately grabbed by the Industry to meet statutory requirements. With more experience and bigger companies, your value and pay package goes up.

Of course, if you are still keen on IAS, you may pursue IAS after finishing this.

There are 3stages in CS course , they are
1) Foundation Course
2) Intermediate Course and
3) Final Course

You have to cross the above three courses then only you can be a company secretary for a private or public companies.
