Nice to see that you are Interested in Indian Army after completing your 10th examination, But I have suggest you please Join Army after completing your 12Th examination because after 10Th you will not get good Post in Army and after completing 12Th examination you are eligible for NDA Examination and if you cracked NDA, then you will get good Post.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination, you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognised Board.

For this year NDA (I) Examination Notification was already Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already over.

Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

If you have completed your 12th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination for all these wings :

>> Army Wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air force Wings.

Those who have not study Maths and Physics in Intermediate are only eligible to apply for Army wings of NDA. The selection are based on written examination, Personal Interview and Medical Examination.

You can join Indian Army after passing 10th but for the post of officer in Army you should appear foe NDA exam after 12th.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for final 12th exam or passed from any stream from a recognised Central/State Board with good physical fitness.

After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Army. See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply.

You can also apply for N.D.A. and C.D.S.(Common Defense Services). There generally two examination are held for N.D.A., one is N.D.A.-1 and another is N.D.A.-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.

NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy

This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year.

As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below-

AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible.

Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th.

Those are completed 12th standard without science group are eligible for NDA exam in the department of Indian Army.

NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.

You can join NDA after passing 12th class examination with science stream.

You are not eligible to apply for the Indian Army after the 10th class. You have to pass at least
10+2 if you want to join Indian Army. After the 10+2 you can join Indian army as an officer through
National defence academy examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.
For the NDA examination the eligibility required is given below.

For the NDA examination candidate should be 10+2 pass.
For the Indian Air force and Navy candidate should have
physics and maths at 10+2.
Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to

You have good percentage of marks in your 10th class but if you want to join in indian army you have to complete your 12th standard because the minimum educational qualification is 12th standard.

If you want to join in indian army you have to appear the NDA exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice in every year.

NDA exam eligibility criteria:

12th standard from any recognised state board of india.

Age limits is 16.5years to 19years.

Only unmarrie male candidates are eligible.

After passing 10th you can join Indian Army as a solider.
If you want to become army officer then you have to pass 12th class with any stream..

After that you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

You can join Indian Army through NDA Examination , but for this first of all you have to pass 12th with PCM as your key subjects from any recognized board.
