I completed my B.COM in . there was no maths subject. right now i want join the defence sector of india. hw can i join? i am 21. there was no maths subject. should i eligible for applying in defence sector.

Being a Commerce Graduate, candidate can join the non technical branch of Indian Army. One has to appear in a Combined Defense Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The age limit to apply for the exam is 20 to 24 years. The examination is conducted two times a year. The next combined Defense Service Exam in which you can apply is going to be held on 16-09-2012. The application form for the exam will be available from 02-06-2012. The last date for the submission of application form will be 02-07-2012.

Hey friend,

Yeah,you can join in defence service after completing B.com which is a UG course

The defence force would include forces such as:

>> Indian Army
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Air Force

You could write the entrance exam which is CDS Exam which offers you to join in defence after completing B.com

Details about CDS:

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service

This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is conducted twice in a year namely as CDS I and CDS II

The criteria's which you need to satisfy to apply for the CDS are as follows:

> Candidate need to be a citizen of India

> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate

Age Limit:

> Age limit for the CDS exam is that the candidate must have 19-24 years for joining in Indian Military Academy

> For joining in Indian Navy the candidate must have 19-22 years

> For joining in Indian Air Force the candidate must have 19-23 years

> For joining in Officer Training Academy the candidate need to have 19-25 years

Education Qualification"

> The candidate need to have completed a degree from a recognized university for joining in IMA and OTA

> For joining in Indian Navy the candidate need to have completed a Engineering degree

> For joining in Indian Air force the candidate need to have completed with physics and mathematics as subjects

> The candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the CDS Exam

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 28.11.2011

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM : 12.02.2012

Important Dates for CDS II:

DATE OF NOTIFICATION : 02.06.2012

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 02.07.2012

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM : 16.09.2012

After passing graduation you can join Indian Defence after passing graduation..
For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services(C.D.S)

C.D.S Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice..

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year..

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Dear friend you can join defense service by clearing CDS (Combined Defense Service) examination conducted by UPSC
After you clear out the CDS exam you will be called for SSB/SSC camp which of duration of 8 to 12 days
Here in camp you have to clear some more examinations like
1.) screening test which includes aptitude test
2.)Group test, here a group of candidates are given some task to complete
3.)story writing
4.)Intelligence test
5.)Group discussions
6.)Interview ETC
When clear these you will under go medical test, after clearing medical test you will selected on all India merit

To Join Into these Branches you have to appear for CDS i.e COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAM which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public service Commission) every year Twice.

The age limitation for IMA is 19 to 24 years and for OTA is 19 to 25 years.

You ,ay apply for forthcoming CDS-II exam 2012, the notification for which will come oout in the month of June 2012 followed by exam during September 2012.
