sir, I am pursuing B.E.(i.t) from a very reputed college but i am not fit in my field as i observe i want my career in defense services so please tell me what should now i do so that
i can utilize my graduation knowledge as well as i will enjoy.Please provide me info about it.

The best way to join the Defense Service of India is through the CDS Exam, conducted by UPSC. UPSC conducts this examination to recruit candidates in all the three major defense forces, i.e. Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
Since you are a student of engineering, you are eligible for the Naval Academy and Air Force Academy along with the IMA.
IMA requires the candidate to have completed their Degree program in any stream whereas, the Naval Academy recruits candidates holding BSc. degree with physics and maths or a degree in engineering.
The Air Force Academy recruits candidates holding a degree in engineering or a degree with physics and maths at + level.
The eligible age for the exam are as follows
IMA- 19-24 years
Naval Academy- 19-22 years
Air Force Academy- 19-23 years.

You can take the Combined Defence Services Examination (conducted by UPSC) to join the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.


eligibility criteria:

1. Age

19 to 23 years*
2. Marital Status

Single
3. Nationality

Indian
4. Gender

This is applicable to both men and women.
5. Educational Qualifications
1. First Class Graduation( min 60% aggregate marks)in any discipline(Three Years Course) with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
2. First Class (min 60 % aggreagte marks ) BE/ BTech(Four years).
3. Final Year students can also apply, provided thay donot have any backlog and min 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year/ semister.

DEFENCE FORCES!!

As you want to join the defence forces, so ill
give you details regarding the same.

You can join the defence forces by appearing for the
Common Defence Service Exam(CDSE) conducted by the UPSC.

ABOUT CDSE:

The CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.
The exam is conducted for the selection of candidates to the
defence forces for Permanent or short service
commission as per eligibility.Candidates can apply in Air Force,Army,Navy.
Through CDS entry you can join directly as an officer in the defence forces.

Eligibility:

Unmarried male and female candidates can apply.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have passed graduation from any field.
Candidates in the final year can also apply.
For Air Force or Navy, physics and maths is compulsory.

Age Limit:

For IMA:19-23 years.(Male)
For AFA:19-23 years.(Male)
For NA:19-22 years.(Male)

So as you are pursuing BTech, so I suggest that you first complete your graduation.
then you can apply for the CDSE in the final year or after passing the same.
