In order to make carrer in Fisheries Science you should take Post Graduate degree course related to this stream.This courses are available in Fisheries College and Research Institute,Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University.List of streams which you can take through this course are :-

• Fisheries science in Aquaculture.
• Fisheries science in Processing Technology.
• Fisheries science in Fishing Technology.
• Fisheries science in Fisheries Economics.

To take admission in these above courses you will require to meet these Eligibility conditions :


Educational qualification :-

• You should have a bachelor degree in Veterinary and Animal Science from recognized university.
• Your degree should be approved from the Medical Council of India.

Other Important details :-

• You must have science stream in Inter level with Biology as the compulsory paper.
• Your minimum marks in Inter level should be 60%.
  

Marks required :-

• For General/OBC category candidates - 65% marks in bachelor degree course.
• For SC/ST category candidates - 50% marks in bachelor degree course.

To take admission in this course,you will have to apply for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Anna University.
