NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (II)

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2010 on 22nd August, 2010 for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for 126,h Course and Naval Academy for 88″‘ Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 30,h June, 2011.

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

(a) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1SI January, 1995 are

eligible.

Educational Qualifications:

(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: – 12th Class pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or
equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course of Naval

Physical Standards:

Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II).

so girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

As per the eligibility criteria of the NDA exam girls are not eligible to appear
for the NDA exam. Only the male candidate are eligible to apply for the NDA
exam.
Candidate who have passed the 10+2 examination and have age between
16½ - 19 years are eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

Girls can apply for the defense as an officer. To apply for the defence
services as an officer you should have to be graduate first. After
the graduation you can apply for the Indian Army, Air force and Navy as
an officer through CDSE exam.

Candidates having graduation are eligible to apply for the CDSE examination.
Candidates having degree in engineering are also eligible to apply for the
CDSE exam.

Candidate who appeared in the CDSE exam should have age between
19 to 24 for IMA.
19 to 23 for Air force and
19 to 22 for Naval Academy.

So you are not eligible for the NDA examination but you can apply for the
defence service after the completion of your graduation as an officer
through above entry scheme.

Dear friend I appreciate your desire to join defence forces but i am very sorry to tell you that girls are not eligible for nda and nae examination till date. You can join defence through CDS EXAMINATION conducted by UPSC every year and remember that graduation is the minimum qualification required for CDS exam. Girls candidate can not apply for N.D.A. examination.

If you want to go into defence services I would suggest you to first complete
your Graduation.
After Graduation you can apply for Combined Defence Services examination(CDS).
Girls candidate may apply for Officers Training Academy through CDS examination.

Also there are opportunities in Indian Airforce for girl candidates.

In Flying branch you can apply through Short Service Commission.
The eligibility criteria is
Age Limit: 19 to 23 years
Education: Graduation in any stream from a recognized university with 60% marks.
Also candidate should have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.

You can apply for Technical Branch jobs after B.E.

Girls cannot appear in NDA because it offers PC(Permanent Commision) for Men only.

For Girls there are another type of exams,these are-

1.SSC(Short Services Commision).

2.And if you are a Bio student then you can apply for AFMC(Armed Forces Medical Corps).

Girls not eligible for N.D.A Examination.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the N.D.A Exams.
The girls have lot opportunities in Indian Air force Academy.
Eligibility :
A graduate degree of recognized university (with Physics and Maths at 10+2) level or bachelor engineering.

Sorry Dear.

You are not eligible for the NDA exam.

But after completion of your graduation course you can join you can join Indian Air force.You need to have 60% marks in you graduation.
Also candidate should have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.

NDA for Girls :-

No Nda can't be written by Girls because Girls are Not Eligible For this.

Nda is only meant for Boys. if you want to joing Indian Army then you need to go for Further Studies either Any degree Or Engineering Degree.

if you do Engineering Degree you will having UES as one Entry.

Ues is University Entry Scheme, Only Final year Girls can apply for this.

Another Entry is CDSE i.e Combined Defense service Exam in which you can Give this Exam.

One more Entry is Open for you if you do Engineering as your Graduation is SSC Technical Women....

NDA Exam is only for unmarried male candidates only. You can't apply for NDA.

First you should complete your Graduation then go for CDS (combined defence service).

You can also join airforce through shot service commission after completing graduation.

CAN girls apply for N.D.A.&N.A. examination?



No, Girls Can Not Apply for NDA Examination !

Its Only for Boys. But You Can Join The Army By Women Special Entry Or Through CDS Examination.

But For this You Have To Complete Your Graduation With Atleast 60% Marks. Only then You Can Apply for SSC, If You Have Clear the SSC Interview, Then You Will Get Chance To Join Army.

You Can Also Apply for Combined Defence Services Examination, Which is Conducted twice a Year by UPSC.

So, If You Are Interested, Then You Can Only Apply for Officers Training Academy.


Eligiblity Creteria For CDS -


Graduation Degree or Equivalent from a Recognized University.

And Your Age Should Between 18 to 24 Years.


But The CDS Exams I Was Already Over On 13/Feb/2011.

But The CDS II Exams Notification Was Not Declared, And It Was Declared On 30/April/2011 On the Official Website Of UPSC.

The Exams Was Held On 18/Sept/2011.

There are many jobs in defense .the NDA is the best exam to enter in defense .
you have Air force ,indian nave ,BSF,indian army.

Is NDA Meant For Girls A big Quetion Mark ??

NDA i.e National Defense Academy Exam is not written by Girls because Girls are Not Eligible for writing this.

NDA is only Meant for Boys. Girls become More Responisble only after completing their graduation Or any degree.

if girls wants to join indian Army then they can but Not after 12th they need to Go for further studies.

After Graduation you have ample number of Entries like

I) CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university for Indian Army.

If they want to join Indian Air force then they need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in their Graduation.

II) UES i.e University Entry Scheme , Final year Engineering Students are Eligible for this.

III) SSC Technical Women Only Final year Engineering Students are Eligible For this.

So, i do suggest you to Go for Engineering Degree to make your self Eligible for Every Entry..

Gils can be entered into the defense through giving CDSE, UES and SSE technical for womens.
So you can apply for these above but not NDA.

A Brave undertaking for you to join Indian Army for the officer rank.

Well you cant join this time it is meant only for boys(unmarried male candidates).

You can apply after your graduate as SSC entry or UES scheme.

In order to appear for NDA exam, one should have completed his 10+2.

He should be in the age group of 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Girls can join into Defence by CDSE exam (Combined Defense Services Examination) .

For this a girl should have completed her graduation.

So first complete your graduation with good percentage and then appear for this exam

Besides this girls can join armed forces only after completing their graduation through the following entry points:

1. CDSE- this is combined defense service examination. girls can apply for this after completing their graduation.

2. Direct Entry Scheme- In this the Male and Female candidates can apply in defense services directly as engineers after completing their 4 years degree from a recognised university, they have to face an interview.

3. UES- This is university entry scheme, through this both the male and female candidates can join armed forces.

In this the armed personnel recruits candidates through campus interview and group discussions.

I salute your spirit to join the defence forces of our country.

However, for NDA, there is no provision for Women candidates.

The eligibility for NDA states that only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5-19 years of age are only eligible.

However, there is no reason to get demoralized.

You can still join the defence forces as an officer in the Army, Air Force, or the Navy, after the completion of your graduation.

After completing graduation or while in the final year of the same,
you can appear for the CDSE(Common Defence Service Examination), to realize your dreams.
You can do graduation from any field.


Age Limits:

For IMA 19 to 24 years
For Air force 19 to 23 years
For Naval Academy 19 to 22 years


So, you cannot appear for the NDA, but still after the completion of your graduation you may apply for the CDSE and try your luck in the defence forces.

Dear frend,

Only Unmarried male candidates with Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years with XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities are eligible for NDA.so you are not eligible for NDA.but you are surely eligible for OTA (OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY),which also gives training to enter into INDIAN ARMY for girls.if you pass your 12th with minimum 70% marks in PCM,then you eligible for direct entry in OTA.and age limit is also comparatively more in this academy as compared with NDA.the age eligibility for OTA is sixteen and a half to ninteen and a half yrzz.. alternatively,you shud do graduation and den enter into INDIAN DEFENCE FORCES through written exam of CDSE.

Girls are not elligible for NDA exams.
m but girls can apply for Officer grade through technical degree.

Sorry no girls are not eligible for NDA exam. According to eligibility criteria

If you are interested in the defence field then you can apply for

CDS exam after completing your graduation degree. Combined defence

service (CDS) exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year and for

CDS exam the age must be between 18 to 24 years at the time of

as you are a + commerce student. so i say you can not apply for nda and you are not applicable to join indian air force.
because commerce student do not have physics , chemistry and maths as a subject.
and a candidate not having these subject is never -never applicable for it.
but you can join air force after doing llb in law.

Apart from N.D.A what are others opportunity for the girls in air force for permanent commissioned rank after 12th.

N.D.A is a institute where only boys can join. Girls are not eligible to write the exam. This is the same criteria for all the 3 forces. Girls can join the defence services after their graduation. They can join as a short service commissioned officer. Girls can also join in the technical cadre of the Defence services. Here too, graduation is a must.
