how can prepare general ability for NDA examination

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy examination. Union Public Service Commission conducts this entrance exam twice every year.

The eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam is that candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. You must be unmarried male Indian citizen.

Examination pattern:

NDA entrance examination consists of written test and Service Selection Board. Stage I is the written test.

It consists of two papers. First paper is of mathematics. You need to work on mathematics subject from class 10th to 10+2. Questions are mainly asked from following topics:

>>Matrices and Determinants.

>>Algebra, Trigonometry.

>>Analytical geometry of two and three dimensions.

>>Differential and integral Calculus and Differential equations.

>>Vector Algebra.

>>Statistics and Probability.

Second paper is of General ability test. Questions is asked from English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Political Science, International and National affairs.

To score better marks in General ability test, refer to English Grammar by Wren and Martin. For better grip over social studies and science, refer to NCERT books from class 6th to 10+2.
