Yes, After Intermediate examination you are eligible to apply for the National Defence Academy examination to Join Indian Navy. But for this you have to complete your +2 examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects, if you have choose these two subjects then you are eligible for NDA and choose Naval wings as preference.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination, and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

The Notification published twice in a year and this year examination was already completed, if you are interested then wait for Next year NDA(I) Examination, the Notification will be Published soon in the month of December, after notification online registration will started. Only online application form facility is available for candidates.

The selection of candidates is based on written test followed by personal Interview and medical test.

NDA Examination is comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test, The written exam consist of two papers namely, Mathematics and General Ability Test. The General Ability Test consists of English and General Knowledge, the papers in all the subjects consist of Objective type questions only with negative marking.

If you cracked written test then you are eligible for SSB Interview for final selection.

So, please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination as per the mentioned eligibility criteria, for more details check official website.

After complete 12th science you can join Indian Navy.NDA (National Defense Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC for recruiting eligible candidates to Indian Armed forces.To join Navy 1st one can Qualifying the entrance exam.

Educational Qualification:
+2 or equivalent with Math,Physics is the minimum qualification required to apply for the exam.

Prepare according to syllabus. Four Year Indian Naval Academy Course.The four year INAC programme is conducted for the 10 + 2 Integrated Cadets and on graduation the cadets are awarded a BTech degree.if you want to be a officer then you have to pass examination like Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service). You must have secured a first class at the graduation level with Physics and Mathematics as your subjects. or have completed a BE or B Tech in any discipline with a first class. or other graduation degree with first class.minimum height of 157 cm with correlated weight.minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision -- 6/12, 12 correctable to 6/6 or 6/6 with glasses.The SSB interview will include Pychological Tests, Individual Tasks, Group Tasks, Group Discussions and Interview.

In the Indian Navy three type of posts are there:
*Technical departments
*Pilot departments
*Ground floor departments
Eligibility criteria(navy):
