Re: How can I study MBBS if completed 12th without Biology?
If you have not taken Biology subject in your 12th std then I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible for this course because to go into the Medical field Biology is an important subject.
But if you have not takes biology but still want to turn your career into a Medical line then you should go for the Biotech courses which is a graduate level course and have a very good scopes. Some of the details regarding MBBS courses are given as below:--->> The minimum education required to get admission in MBBS is getting good marks in the 12th std exams having Biology as a main subject, aftre that you will be allowed to seat in the entrance exams conducted by the CBSE known as AIPMT which means all india pre medical test.If you are getting good rank in this entrance exams then you will have to do a councelling to get the college for the admissio in any MBBS college of India. Eligiblity Criteria for AIPMT is:- The condidate should have passed in your 12Th examination with Physics and Biology. Chemistry and Biology or Mathamatics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board. So, If you have scored minimum 50% marks in PCM/PCM subjects then you are eligible to get admission in B.Pharmacy Course. If you have passed in your 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks in PCB/PCM subjects then you are eligible to get admission through AIPMT. Courses. |

Re: How can I study MBBS if completed 12th without Biology?
MBBS stands for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is undergraduate medical courses.
The entry to this courses is given through various entrance exams like: 1. All India Pre Medical test. 2. All India Institute of Medical Sciences. 3. State Medical entrance test. The academic qualification required for these tests is that candidate must have done his/her 10+2 from a recognized board or appearing for it with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects. Since, you have not studied biology in 10+2 which is main criteria for MBBS entrance exams, you are not eligible for the MBBS course. |

Re: How can I study MBBS if completed 12th without Biology?
No, you can not apply for the MBBS course without having biology in 10+2 from a recognized board.
Most of the entrance exams for the MBBS like AIPMT, AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU medical entrance exams have eligibility criteria: ~~Candidate must have done 10+2 board or appearing for it with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects. So, biology is the compulsory subject for the MBBS entrance exam. The age limit is 17 years on the 31st December of the year of admission. |
