I have finished b-tech in civil engg. I want to clear IES exam with some top rank. I'm looking for IES coaching. I heard IES academy in delhi is good.

Would you tell something about this coaching centre or any other cente ?

To be eligible for the IES exam you need to be graduate at least that you are.

To clear IES with a good rank you should prepare for the exam under the guidance of some good teachers who can guide you through the exam and make your dreams successful.

hi, its aditya here. i have completed my b-tech last year and joined dronacharya institute of engineers(IES Coaching Center) in delhi.
i cleared my exam at first attempt under the guidelines of Mr. Ramniwas Sir( 2 time IES Qualified)
You must visit there once. in my thinking Dronacharya is best option for IES Exam.

IES exam is conducted by the IES every year.

Eligibility criteria of IES:-

Students with four year B.Tech degree can apply for this exam.
Students with M.Sc degree in areas like electronics, radio physics, radio engineering or wireless communication can also apply.

At the most you can give the exam for four times.

Selection procedure includes written test and personality test.

Written test pattern:-

Paper I-(objective type)
Part A: general english
Part B: general studies

Part II & III- (objective type)
civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Part IV & V: (descriptive type)
civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Total marks for written exam is 1000 marks.

preparation tips:

first you should have very clear knowledge about the syllabus.
then initially concentrate non structural units.....so that you have direct questions you can answer easily.
after that go for units that you studied well during your academic year...
then go for structural units........study well the units you feel quite easy.
at last cover the rest of the syllabus....don't put more effort....
avoid last minute preparation....
revise the syllabus for one month before the exam.......
