i want to prepare for ies and psu myself but i am confused over joining coaching istitutes.
will i be able to crack ies with good rank without joining coaching.
if it is possible then what should i do for my preparaton.
kindly guide me regarding this.

yes you can crack IES without coaching institute because nowdays there are so many engineering student who crack these exam without coaching.
but to crack these exam you have to give your dedication and hardworking fully.you have to give time for these exam with systematic study.

As you are interested for IES exam , the eligibility criteria for IES exam are as follows.....

Educational Qualifications :

Degree in :
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent degree from recognized universities.

• M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.
• Students of final year Engineering or equivalent degree are also eligible.


Age Limits :

Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on August 1st on year of conduct of examination ( upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs,OBCs and certain others )

i want to know which is the best coaching for ies mainly for mechanical branch.
I am from MP and visted to delhi for coaching but get demoralise to se the crowd in the coaching centers
can u please guide me which will be the best coaching, where i can get best faculties, and most importantly is there is small number of students in one class, so that i can ask my douts to the teachers directly. Plz tell me is there any coaching...??

i want to crack ies,and i cant afford coaching..is it wise to go for 1 year xtra prep,or can i afford it while being in colege. i m doing my 8th sem in ece department
