Bachelor degree from any of the recognized University with first class marks is the basic qualification required. Engineering graduates are eligible to apply for certain subjects only. They can try for courses like Integrated Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences or M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree Programme in Biotechnology. Detailed information in eligibility can be collected from the portal of IIT, Delhi. Applications can also be submitted through this web portal.

If you want to qualify in IIT JAM 2013 shall have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IISc, Bangalore & IITs. You must have passed the Bachelor's degree in the subject concerned or related subjects, in which they are seeking admission. JAM qualified candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IITs: You must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries in all years combined) in the qualifying degree.There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in case of SC/ST/PD category candidates. IIT JAM Stands for IIT Joint Admission Test. This exam is conducted every year for Graduates seeking for MSC course. The Eligibility Criteria Required for IIT JAM are : * you must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. * you must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in graduation. * There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates. Sir, i have completed my B.tech. Degree with a agreegate of 75.6% with computer science & engineeering branch...sir please tell me which subjects i can opt as my subject in iit jam?? I am intrested in both physics and mathematical sciences.... |

IIT JAM stands for Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Admission Test The candidates who qualify in JAM 2013 shall have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IISc & IITs Eligibility Requirement: Candidates who want to appear in IIT JAM Exam for admission in IISc and IITs they need to have the following Eligibility Criteria: For IISc: General and OBC Candidates must possess at least 60 % of marks in the relevant degree. SC/ST candidates must have at least 50% of marks in the relevant degree. For IITs: To get admission in IITs candidates must have 55 % of marks from General /OBC category in the relevant degree. SC/ST /PD category must have at least 50% in the relevant degree. Examination pattern of IIT JAM: Students seeking admission to a programme have to choose the corresponding Test Paper from the list as given below.
