I may suggest you to keep concentrate on your present studies thinking for MBA now it self will not make you understand it completely. In you coming years like 3rd year and 4th year i.e. in your 5th 6th and 7th semester you will be having Management Science, Operation Research and Plant layout material handling and some management subjects in electives. Based on that you can decide your future MBA branch you can select. Basically a Mech engineer don't have to compulsory do MBA , by your job experiance and having knowledge of these subjects can make you Manager of any department specially Inventory or Production dept in any organization if you perform better than others. I had seen many such personalities. If I tell you now the field you have to join that will be unfair because your just in first year you didn't even know Core subjects of Mechanical field and Specially Subjects like O R Can make you study further in that field only. by the way just for your Question : Try these fields based on your interest at that time: (Specially for MECH) Organizational Management Entrepreneurship Operation Research Management Materials Management Industrial management All the best!! |

>> If you want to join MBA some of the criteria are given below >>Bachelor degree form a recognized university >>you can apply for the exam i=even in the final year. >> Exam the MBA admission >>CAT >>MAT >>OTHER EXAM CONDUCTED BY THE INSTITUTE eg. IIPM >>If you qualify you will get chance to study in IIM. >>Other courses for you other then MBA According to your area of interest you can aplly for GATE and go for Mtech which is more valuable for a engineer, and you will get chance to study in reputed college like IITs and NITs best wishes GIRISH |

Dear Friend,
* I would first suggest you to complete your graduate's degree successful in this stretch. * As per your request, HR would be much better in MBA for you as you were willing to work in any automobile concerns. * You can better opt for the position of HR in those concerns. Best wishes :-) |
