moreover , u apply directl to individual PSUs and also u cab go for IES exams Major PSUs ISRO, DRDO, NTPC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, BHEL, GAIL, SAIL, BEL, BSNL(JTO), AAI, ONGC, PGCIL, BARC Exam-Date (a) Throughout the year. (b) Entrance exam of different PSUs are held at different times during the year. (c) Peak duration during which maximum exams occur - May-Sept. IES stands for Indian Engineering Services. It is a combined competitive examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year. The written exam for IES is conducted every year at various centers across India. Through IES recruitment to Group-A and Group-B services . |

Government enterprises i.e. PSUs recruit engineers through all India level examination.
PSUs visit top engineering colleges for campus recruitment. If you have completed your B.E. then you will have to go for all India level examination. Generally a written test followed by an interview or GD+Interview are comprised in all India recruitment exam. The notification for recruitment in PSUs are published in Employment News and national dailies. The notification for different PSUs are not published at a time so you should read Employment News weekly to get updates about the vacancy. You can apply for all major PSUs if you fulfill the eligibility criteria and age limit. Normally 60% marks is required in B.E. to be eligible for PSU exams but for Maharatna PSU 65-70% use to the marks required in B.E. to be eligible for the exam. Some of the reputed PSUs in India are; NTPC ONGC IOCL CIL NMDC DRDO ISRO BSNL BHEL GAIL GSPC Power Grid Apart from you can apply for Engineering Services examination, for highly reputed gonernment jobs of India. |

There are so many options vailable for you to work as govt employee.
You can take job just after completing your btech. You can apply in following PSUs: NTPC ,ONGC, IOCL, CIL, NMDC, DRDO, ISRO, BSNL, BHEL, GAIL, GSPC, Power Grid These PSUs have recruitment criteria of selecting students having above 60% in engg. Secondly , you can appear for IES(except if you are comp engg) You can get very good jobs after clearing this exam. Otherwise you can also appear for civil service exam. |

You have not mentioned your engineering discipline so it is difficult to provide the exact information.
Well, to get a government job you will be required to qualify the recruitment test as well as GD/interview conducted by various PSUs. You should start preparing for the recruitment test from now only. You should read employment newspaper as well as one local newspaper daily. Whenever any vacancy exists in any government organisation it publishes the notification in newspaper. You can also get yourself registered at some job websites like times job, monster jobs, freshersworld etc. In this way you will be informed whenever any suitable vacancy exists. |

As you have completed your graduation degree I suggest that you can apply for the Civil Service exam and the Engineering Service Exams.
The Civil Service exam is going to be conducted 12.6.2011 and the application forms are available. Details Regarding CSAT: AGE Limit: Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August 2011. Upper Age limit is 30 years(relaxations for SC/ST). Educational Qualification: A graduate degree in any field of graduation. Final Year students can also apply. I had done my B.E programme from the institute which is approved from the NCT Delhi Govt.I want to know can I apply for the government job in the future or not and what is the value of B.E Programme in the private and MNC company

hii, after completing the B.E you need appear for many private exams, like
IES BEL BHEL NTPC ISRO BSNL RRB.. after clearing up you need to attend interviews then your dream job is ready best of luck. |

there are lot of options for govt job depending upon you that what kind of field you have with B.E .
govt jobs have most of their vacancies in Mechanical,Electrical and Civil streams. |
