this is ajit kumar sharma persuing b.tech from computer science final.i want to know what the govt. jobs are available for me

B.Tech graduates in CSE can find adequate career opportunities with CDIT or CDAC. Technical positions in GAIL, SAIL, and BHEL are also good for you. GATE score and a minimum of 60-70% marks in graduation are mandatory to apply for such jobs. You can try for Specialist Officer post in banks. In railways, you can apply for the role of Section Engineer/Junior Engineer.

Im shankar gurjar, student of B.sc. Nursing 1st year but my intrest in software engineering.
So i have confusion between both,what's better for me ?

Dear Friend

Its good thinking to go for the government jobs after completing bachelor's degree in computer science engineering.

But to be very frank at the present scenario its not possible for anyone to get the government job just on professional degree.

Seats are limited or you can say that vacancies are limited and competition is large .Lacs of candidates fight for just hundred posts.

So you have to be something extraordinary in order to get your job.

In order to get job in government sector ,you will have to crack the entrance exams like :

1.GATE : Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering

>>After clearing this exam ,you will be able to join at technical posts in various public sector undertakings like NTPC,BHEL,SAIL,ONGC,IOCLetc.

>>Minimum of 65 % throughout b.tech is required for this exams.

2.You can go for the Civil services examination conducted by the UPSC .The age limit is 21-30 years.

3.If you want to join defense then you may go for the Combined defense services .

4.For banking jobs ,you need to clear the entrance exams like IBPS common written exam or SBI clerk and P.o exam .

5.One of the best for you will be to appear for the entrance test conducted by the National Informatics Centre .
