Genetic engineering is a promising area where lots of research is currently going on. You can get into graduation in microbiology or bioinformatics to get in to this field of genetic engineering. Most of the colleges which offer these graduation courses conduct entrance exams and you must have a score of more than 70% (to be on safe side) in 12th exam to appear for entrance exam or to apply for graduation course.

presently i am in 11th science with biology,math,camestryand physics my 10th percentage is 79.9%

*qualify your high school(pcb or pcbm) with minimum 60%.
*get your graduation degree from an affiliated college with biotechnology,with atleast 60%.
*you can take CBEE(combined biotechnology entrance exam) to get your post graduation degree from the prestigious university of india.
*exam conducts every year in the month of june-july. the exam conducts by JNU for top 28 universities in our country.
