Nice to see your interest in the engineering field. In the today age the engineering field is growing very fast. After 12th you may take admission in B.Tech.

As you know that there are many branch of engineering like Computer science, electrical engineering, Information technology, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics & communication engg...etc. You may choose any one branch as per own interest. If you are interested in computer then CSE branch is good option for you.

After completing 12th class you need to appear in the engineering entrance examination like IIT JEE, WBJEE, ORJEE, KIITEE, VITEEE...etc. IIT is the best college for B.Tech course. To take admission in the IIT college you need to qualify IIT JEE entrance examination. So, prepare well for the engineering entrance examination.

directly genetic engineering entrance exam or can I do bsc degree with bio technology ,bio chemistry, chemistry other wise it is better to take long term to complete MBBS and then genetic engineering please show me a correct way
