how to recruit in CBI .but i'm mechanical engg. passout student

Hello friend,
You are eligible for becoming the CBI officer. The criteria for the CBI exam will be graduation in any discipline. So as you have completed your engineering, you are eligible for the CBI exam. The age limit will be 21-30 years for the general candidates.

For the CBI you have to apply for the CGPE. This examination is conducted by the SSC every year. The eligibility required for this examination is given below:

Education Qualification
To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in

Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 20 to 27 years.

If you fulfill with above requirement then you can appear for CBI exam.....

There are two ways to join CBI:
1.CGPE exam conducted by SSC
2.Civil service exam conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for both of these is that you must be graduate in any field.

sir m in final year in mechanical engineering..i dont understand that which field i should go..i have some option like ndt n piping..please suggest me with some good idea..

Hi If you are intersted in Indian Defence then there is lot Openenings for Young Engineers .
Govt Sectors : HAL , ADA , ISRO , IES
If your option is Private sector means then You can go Ahead with NDT , but plz keep in Mind persons with BE should have to study Advanced NDT whereas Fees is very high .

Dont Worry that your age is 27 , Because There is an age relaxation Based on OBC/SC &ST .

So dont if you fall on above Catergory then you will get age relaxation .
