How to become a CBI officer after passing B.E Mechanical
hello sir, i want to become a cbi officer but i'm a B.E(mechanical),Pre-Final Year student..is it possible to become a cbi persnnel with engineering degree?? if it possible na kindly say the guidance to me...

CBI(CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION) To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Graduation in any discipline AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 years . Following is the eligibility criteria for appearing for entrance exam for CBI - You should be a graduate - You should have done your graduation from recognized college/institute - you should have atleast 50% in your graduation - You age should be under 25 year - Relaxation of 5 year to SC/ST and 3 year to OBC is given Since you have passed your B.E Mechanical , you are a graduate now. You are eligible if you meet the other eligibility as well Also, going for CBI means you wont be able to work as engineer. Your mechanical knowledge wont be of much use. Thus, its a trade off.
