How good is Ph.D for career?


Sir,
i completed my mtech in power system from NIT-KUK , and then joined IBM .
But now i feel myself in a wrong field and don't find any interest working in IT field. How good it will be for my career if i join for PHD in any good reputed institute ?

PHD has wide scope. As you get a good job after PHD and well reputed job.
There are many private universities hire PhDs of IIT like VIT, SRM, Amity, DAIICT etc &
There are also many companies like Samsung, idea etc.
