i am a student of b.tech,2nd year..after completion of my b.tech i want to join C.B.I.i want to know about the syllabus for its entrance exam.kindly give me some suggestion regarding this exam.

CBI (CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION)
Central Bureau of Investigation and it is a leading agency for investigation which comes under the control of the
Indian Government.

To join the CBI you must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination.
To appear for this exam ,You must have your graduation with a minimum of 55% marks .

AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years
Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 .

For Joining CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) you will have to apply for SSC CGL Graduate Level Exam which is conducted by the SSC.Other details related to SSC CGL :

• Exam Notification - March Last week.
• Exam taken - Mid of June.

Exam Fee details :

• For General/OBC category - Rs 100.
• For SC/ST Category - Rs 50.

Eligibility required for SSC CGL CBI Exam

Educational qualification :


~Your minimum educational qualification should be Graduate pass out in any discipline from recognized university.
~If you have a Distance learning degree then it should be approved from the Distance Educational Council of India.


Age :


~Minimum age required to apply for SSC CGL Exam is 18 years.
~Maximum age allowed to apply for SSC CGL Exam is 27 years.


Age Relaxations :


~Backward category candidates will get 3 years of age relaxations.
~SC/ST category candidates will get 5 years of age relaxations.

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Exam.
2. Mains Exam.
3. Personal Interview.

Exam pattern and Syllabus for Preliminarey Exam

• Total duration of this exam will be 2 houres and 40 minutes.
• Total number of questions will be 200.
• Total marks will be 200.
• For each correct answer 1 marks will be awarded.
• Negative marking for each wrong answer will be 0.25.

Sections :

1. Logical Reasoning.
2. Quantitative Aptitude.
3. General Knowledge.
4. English Comprehension.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for Mains Exam

• This exam will have two papers.
• Each paper will be 2 hours.
• Total marks for each paper will be 200.
• Total number of questions in each ppaer will be 100.

Sections :

1. Quantitative Aptitude.
2. English Grammar and Comprehension.

you can definitely join CBI after your B.Tech. Firstly, you need to get at least 55% in your graduation, then you need to apply for UPSC examination for admission to CBI, a branch for investigation. CBI i.e Central bureau of Investigation is one of the a specialized wing in India which deals with many popular cases with police and finds out the motive of the crime and the
culprit .

Graduation degree from recognized university are applicable for CBI exam this exam not require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Yes , After completion of your B-Tech degree you are applicable for CBI recruitment exam .

Age criteria :-

a. 18 to 27 years For Inspectors or CE and Div. Acctts or Auditors or UDCs
b. 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
c. 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs

Selection Process for CBI Exam :-

Preliminary Exam (Tier I).
Mains Exam (Tier II).
Interview.
Medical Test.

Physical Requirements:-

HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms.
For Female-150 cms.
CHEST: MALE- 76 cms.
No such requirement for females.

Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye

$$ CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation, this exam is being conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year....

$$ As you have mention that you are in the Second year of the B.Tech you can not apply for this exam yet you have to wait for the completion of it or for the last year of your Graduation degree then you can apply for this examination.....


Exam Pattern:-

• Tier-I consist = 200 Marks,
• Tier-II consists = 400 Marks and
• Tier-III Consists = 100 marks for the Interview.

Educational Qualification:-


$$ A candidate who have passed out their Graduation degree in any Discipline Or appearing their final year of the Graduation degree are eligible for applying this examination.....

$$ A candidate must have the Nationality of the India.....

Age Criteria:-


~♦~ Minimum age should be at least 20 years...
~♦~ Age of candidate should not exist 27 years...
~♦~ Maximum relaxation for OBC category on upper age is 3 years provided....

Yes, you can join CBI after completion of your B.Tech.


The eligibility criteria required for the CBI are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Final year contenders are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 18-27 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC, 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

* Physically and mentally fit.
