I want to join indian navy. I have scored 62.4% in 12th from non medical. How can i join. Please reply desperatly waiting. Is there any other way than nda??????

You can apply for nda rest after 12 there is no option for officer line and second is via direct entry but for it you must have atleast 70% minimum

You can join indian army after 12th standard with science stream.

NDA exam stands for national defence accdemy which is conducted by upsc twice in a year.


NDA exam is conducted into three wings;
*indian army
*indian navy
*indian air force
NDA EXAM ELIGIBLITY;
>12th standard from a recognized university.
>age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.
>you must be unmarried men and indian citizen.

To join Indian Army OR Indian Navy you have to completed 12th examination then you have to crack the NDA Examination .

NDA Indian Army :-

You must have a passed 12th exam with any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized School . There is no restrictions about Stream for this examination Any stream candidate can apply for NDA Examination . There is no minimum marks required .

Age should be between 16 1/2 years and 19 years and No Upper age limits is applicable . Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply . Those who are appearing in the final year of 12th exam can also eligible to apply .

NDA Indian Navy :-

You must have a passed 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects or equivalent qualification from a recognized School .Without these subjects you are not eligible to apply for NDA and other entry also .

Age should be between 16 1/2 years and 19 years and No Upper age limits is applicable . Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply . Those who are appearing in the final year of 12th exam can also eligible to apply .

So , you can't apply for Indian Navy examination without Physics and Mathematics as subjects but you are eligible to apply for Indian Army .

I think you are question is not clear , there is a two types of Science Stream 1)MPCC (Non-Biology group) 2)MPCB ( Biology Group)

Non-Medical Group means Mathematics , Physics , Chemistry and Computer Science .
Medical Group Means Mathematics , Physics , Chemistry and Biology .

If you are saying non-medical group like this then you are eligible to apply for Indian Navy through NDA , 10+2 TES , SSR , AA and others . If you are coming from commerce stream then you are not eligible .

Non medical students are also eligible to apply for INDIAN ARMY.
To join in army you need to apply for the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

12 th standard candidates are applicable
age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years
unmarried male candidates are eligible
candidate should be a citizen of india
candidate should physically fit

you can join Indian Navy as follow ways:
By giving NDA examination,
through indian navy technical entry ,
so for NDA exam % not matter but for TES for navy requir minimun 75% in PCM in 10+2.

You can join Indian Army after scoring 62.4% in 12th non medical through appearing NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC two times a year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

There is no percentage of marks required for application to NDA. only a pass in 12th is sufficient along with other eligibility criteria to apply for NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

As you have completed 12th with non medical that means you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th so that you can apply for all the three wings of NDA.

The NDA can be applied on line by paying requisite fee for the exam. The selection is thorough written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

NDA - National Defence Academy

You can join Indian Army after passing 12th standard. You have got enough percentage to be eligible for this exam.

If you want to join Army or Navy then you have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India 2 times in a year- NDA I & NDA II.
