can i join indian navy after 12th and my subject are zoology,botan,physics,chemistry and i m a medical student so can i join indian navy............... plz sir help

Yes one can join the Indian army with a science background. One needs to have done 10+2. This is mandatory. You have the option of joining by clearing the NET exam. You can apply only if your age is between 16.5 and 19 years. You can visit the NDA site for the details.

Yes you can join the indian navy as it requires science . But you should apply for NET exam and get cleared in it.

But you will have to fulfill these criteria :

1.You must complete 10+2 standard.
2.You must be an Indian.
3.Your eyesight must be good[6/6]

Yes you surely can join Navy.

At this stage as you are in class 12th then I suggest you to join Indian Navy through the NDA.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.The examination is conducted twice in a year.The examination is conducted to take admission in the Air force wing,Naval wing and the Army wing of NDA.

The eligibility criteria to appear in the NDA examination is that the candidate must has passed class 12th and the age of the candidate must be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

How To Join Indian Navy

In order to join the Indian Navy after 12th..you need to clear the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam..

For appearing in the NDA Exam..you need to first fulfill the following minimum qualifications first :-

1) You should be within 16.5-19 years of age..

2) You should have Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects in 12th..for joining the Indian Navy (for Indian Army..any stream or any set of subjects is fine)

Apart from these..you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

The written exam will test you on the following areas :-

General Knowledge
Current Affairs
Basic Maths
English

You need to first clear the written exam..then the interview and then the medical examination..

Yes sure you can apply for the NDA I exam that is scheduled every year in the month of april.. most probably 20th. So just after giving your boards, you can sit for this exam.

Elementary knowledge of 10th and 12th are tested. The paper is not very difficult, and consist of PCM and History Geography and General studies and knowledge parts.

So once you clear it, you are called for SSB, that comprises of a Strict physical test, you have to be physically fir to pass it. And then a round of Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

Once you are through, you would be given a year training in Dehradun in India Military Academy after which you would be a past of the India Army.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for navy through NDA.
so you can join as a doctor.
for this you have to qualify the AFMC exam complete the MBBS course and then you can join navy.
if you do your MBBS from other collage then you qualify the CDS exam and you can join navy.
