I want to join NCC but, my school does not have not NCC for girls. Can I join NCC from outside? How to join NCC outside? Where should I apply? What are the criteria to join NCC for girls?

You can join independently to any NCC company based on there vacancy and showing your interest. I have heard there is open enrollment NCC units in major cities.

Criteria for boys and girls are same for joining NCC.

NCC stands for National Cadet Corps.

Eligibility for students to join NCC:

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate must be enrolled in any Educational Institute.

To join in junior wing a candidate must have age in between 13 to 18.5 years.

The student who want to join NCC will have to search nearby NCC unit from there they can join in it. They need to apply for admission in either junior or senior wing according to their eligibility and the admission form can be obtained from the commanding officer of the NCC unit. The commanding officer will provide you all the necessary officer regarding admission in NCC.

There will be no separate classes for NCC training outside schools. Mostly schools can get NCC training in their schools. If it is not available in your school, then you can join NCC course in a nearby school. To do that, first you have contact NCC master of that school then you have to ask him about the procedure to join in his NCC group.

Eligibility criteria:-

- A candidate must be Indian citizen.
- Bearing a good moral characters.
- Age limit for junior division/wing = 13 to 18.5 years.
- Age limit for senior division/wing = up to 26 years.
- To join NCC the candidate should be student only.
