Re: How to make a good career in recession?
A college degree could suggest a particular career but it can also be applied to many other careers. As a result, the fresh graduate is not forced on a single job. He has a variety of options on what field to work on. That is why many of the fresh graduates opts to transfer from one job to another – not just from one company to another but a totally new career that could suggest not only a difference in financial status but even in lifestyle.
Preparing the Future If you already have a career in mind but you are unable to realize it right now because of recession, use this time to have small jobs relative to your preferred career. Again, slouching in your house without any effort in looking for a job is not a good way to start your quest for a better career. |

Re: How to make a good career in recession?
Among the ways of coping with recession is considering a career change. Not too many people like the idea of changing their career during a downturn in the economy. Nonetheless, if you've already felt the effects of recession - say you've been dismissed, why not establish another career path? It might not have crossed your mind to prioritize job security when choosing a job. However, whether you are taking your first job or making a shift, it can be beneficial, especially during our ever-present economic situation. Indeed, no line of work is 100% assured. Merely, there are some industries that make employees feel more assured that even if they do get forced out, the demand is so large to find another job would be quite easy.

Re: How to make a good career in recession?
There are a lot of options – you can work online, have a temp job or go on a freelance work based on what you know. These are small things for you but they could be great addition to your resume. Plus, during the course of working on small things, you will slowly realize what you really wanted to do. Consider this as a stepping stone for something greater in the future.

Remember that only the good jobs are getting cut, there are still small sector jobs.So go for it. Or you can also prefer for the higher studies in the respective field. All the best. |

or else if you are really interested in doing higher studies then i think you should start preparing for the competetion which you have to give to get entry into that course if in mean while you get the call letter you can still give the examination for which you have prepared and join the course in the next year after having some experiance of the industry which will be really helpful in making you understand the things even better |

Re: How to make a good career in recession?
In my opinion you have to go for further studies in recession period like M.tech or MBA but if you don't want for further studies then you should try to get government job.
There are many government jobs available which do not affected by recession so prepare for it.As you do not mention your qualification properly so i can't give you more information about the government job. |
