Third year of engineering is the perfect time to start preparing for entrance exams of engineering for jobs in government sector. You need to focus on your technical subjects and prepare for technical exams like GATE and Indian Engineering Services.

1. GATE examination toppers in Mechanical stream can get job in Public Sector Undertakings like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, ONGC, IOCL etc.

2. Technically strong candidates can prepare for engineering services exam for best jobs in core sector.

3. Other than these, you can get jobs in private sector in automobile industry.
