Re: How many chances are available for doing IIT JEE?
IIT JEE is a National level entrance examination which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for offering admission to interested candidates in Engineering programs at IITs and other top institutions.
JEE has two parts namely JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Through JEE Main examination score and rank, you can get admission in NITs and to get admission in IITs, you must have to appear in JEE Advanced examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with PCM stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to appear in JEE Main examination. Candidates who have qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank including all categories in JEE Main examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. You can appear in JEE Main examination maximum three times and in JEE Advanced examination maximum two times in consecutive years after completion of your 12th standard. |
