How many chances are there in IIT JEE for general category from UP Board?

IIT stands for the Indian Institute of Technology and the examination is conducted to get the admission in this institute for the B.tech course is known as IIT JEE. The examination is conducted by the CBSE every year.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed the 10+2 from a recognised board.
* Candidate must have PCM as main subject in the board examination.

There is no reservation of any particular board candidate but there is reservation on the cut o marks for the OBC, SC/ST candidates.

So being a UP board candidate you are eligible to appear for the examination. There are only three attempts to appear for the examination for any board or any category candidate.

To get the admission in IIT you have to qualify in both the stages of examination:-
* Mains.
* Advance.

The application form are available in the month of November and the examination is conducted in the month of April. The question in the Mains are only objective type which contains 90 questions of 360 marks.
