How many chances I have left to write NDA exam?


I want to join airforce, i know the eligibility but i am confused guide me please
my date of birth is 22/4/98 how many chances i have to write nda exam?

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

*Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years for candidates of all category. As per your age, you can apply for NDA II exams in 2016 and NDA I and NDA II in 2017. That is you are left with three more attempts for NDA exam.

Age limit decides number of attempts.

You have still 3 chances to apply for NDA. You can apply for NDA Exams April 2016 , August 2016 , April 2017. NDA is conducted in the month of April & August.

NDA Eligibility
- You must have indian citizenship.
- You must have passed (10+2) in any stream for Army wing and (10+2) in science stream with physics , maths subjects for Navy & Air Force wings.
- Your born should not earlier than 2nd July , 1997 & Not later than 1st July , 2000.
- You must be physically fit.

Selection Procedure
- Written Test
- SSB Interview
- Medical Test

NDA Important Dates
- Application Procedure Starts : 02/01/2016
- Last Date of Application : 29/01/2016
- NDA I Exam : 17/04/2016

Your date of birth is 22/4/98 so you can apply upto 2017 for NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 min

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

NDA is the National Defense Academy which is conducted by the UPSC and as you have born in 1998 you are eligible for the NDA examination till you exceed your age limits and the eligibility criteria for the NDA examination is main criteria in appearing for NDA and the Various vacancies conducted for NDA are
  • Indian Navy
  • Indian Air Force
  • Indian Army

These are the various recruitment's conducted for the NDA

Required Eligibility for NDA:
  • Should have to possess the age limit in between 2nd July 1997 to 1st July 2000 and you should have to possess the age limit in between these date of birth
  • Should belong to the Citizen of India only
  • Should have completed 12th with the Maths and Physics back ground for Indian Navy and Air force
  • In order to appear for Indian Army you can possess 12th with any of the discipline in which you have interest

These are the main eligibility required for NDA and as you are born in 1998 you can appear for the NDA with in the age limits mentioned above as many times as you can

You have only one attempt left to appear for NDA examination. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. The examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed or pursuing 10+2 from recognised board and age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible.

So, you will be eligible to appear for NDA II examination conducted in 2016. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.
