Diploma students get admission in engineering direct 2nd year by lateral entry. They have to go through LEET entrance examination for engineering by lateral entry.
In engineering 20% seats are reserved for diploma students. In most of engineering colleges total seats are 60 in every branch. So, in such colleges 12 seats allocates for diploma students who are admits in 2nd year of engineering.

I got branch rank 4300 total rank 16000 mechanical, I get admission in top 25 college s or not

Sir i want to know that how many seats are allocated to the diploma pass outs for BE ? Also is there any defence quota for admission?How much percentage needed?Is IT engineering has less seats ?which is good IT or Computer?
