how many seats available for Scheduled caste candidates in NIT for B.Arch. course?

Only 9 NITs out of total 31 NITs offer the B.Arch course. There are total 559 seats available in these NITs for B.Arch. For SC candidates, 15% seats are reserved. B.Arch admission is done on the basis of score obtained in qualifying exam and JEE Main Paper II.

Counselling Process
Joint Counselling and Seat Allocation conducted in total 6 rounds in online mode by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Counselling for candidates from North East Region and Union Territories conducted by CSAB.

JoSAA Counselling
- On official site, Click on link "JoSAA".
- Register online by entering your JEE Main Roll Number and Password.
- Login and Select the Institutes, Their Names and Program applying for.
- Select the choice of colleges and programs and Lock your choices.
- On the date of counselling, Seat will be allotted according to your All India Rank, Category, Priority Order of Choices and Availability of Seats.
- If you are interested for alloted seat, then Download the seat allocation latter and Pay acceptance fee online.
- Verify the all documents at the reporting centres.
- After verification, Provisional Admission Letter will be issued and your admission is confirmed.

- Registration and Choice Filling : 15th to 26th June, 2017
- Mock Round I : 20th June, 2017
- Mock Round II : 23rd June, 2017
- 1st Round of Seat Allocation : 28th June, 2017
- Reporting to Help Centres of 1st Round : 29th June to 3rd July, 2017
- 2nd Round of Seat Allocation : 4th July, 2017
- Reporting to Help Centres of 2nd Round : 5th, 6th July, 2017
- 3rd Round of Seat Allocation : 10th July, 2017
