KCET is conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for admission to Engineering, B.Pharm, Farm Science and AYUSH etc. For getting KCET reservation benefits of SC category, You must be belongs to SC category under 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B. For that, You must produce caste certificate issued by concerned jurisdictional tahasildar during document verification.

Percentage of Seat Reservation In KCET
- Rural Candidates : 15% of Government Seats
- Kannada Medium : 5% of Government Seats
- Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants : 1 seat in every engineering college
- OBC/SC/ST under category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B - Not Available
- Defence Personnel of Karnataka Origin - 10% seats in all engineering colleges
- Supernumerary Category - 5% seats in all engineering colleges

KCET Application Process
- Visit the official website : www.kea.kar.nic.in
- Click on registration link.
- Click on "New Registration".
- Read the instructions carefully and click on "Proceed to Apply Online".
- Enter registration details and complete it.
- Login and Fill the application form carefully.
- Upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature.
- Make a payment of application fee.
- Print the confirmation of application for future reference.

KCET 2019 Important Dates
- Online Registration Starts : 1st February, 2019
- Last Date of Application : 28th February, 2019
- Availability Admit Card : 16th April, 2019
- KCET Exam Date : 23rd April for Mathematics and Biology, 24th April for Physics and Chemistry, 25th April for Kannada Language
- KCET Result Declaration : 1st June, 2019
- Starting of Counselling : 2nd Week of June, 2019

KCET 2019 Exam Pattern
- Number of Questions : 180
- Maximum Marks : 180
- Exam Duration : 1 Hour 10 Minutes for each paper
- 1 Mark will be awarded for each correct answer. No negative marking for any wrong answer.

Syllabus
- Mathematics/Biology : 60 Questions (70 Minutes)
- Physics : 60 Questions (70 Minutes)
- Chemistry : 60 Questions (70 Minutes)
- Kannada : 50 Questions (70 Minutes)
