how many subjects in bca 1st year..Pelase tell me the details for the same

MCA stands for master of Computer Application

The First year of MCA course comprises of two semesters.

There are 5 theory papers and two practical papers .

The semester I subjects are as follows :

1]Computer Fundamentals and Progrmming in C
2]Computer Organisation
3]Discrete mathematical Structure
4]Software Engineering
5]Optimization techniques and Statiscal methods using C
6] Softwre Lab-1 based on Paper I
7]Software Lab II based on Paper 5

So there are in all 5 subjects for the MCA semestr I

There are five theory and two practical papers for the semester II of MCA first year .

The Following are the papers of MCA second semester :

1]Intoduction to internet & web Designing
2]Data Structures
3]Computer Networks
4]System Simulation
5]Object Oriented Systems and C++
6]software Lab III
7] Software LAb IV

MCA, a post graduation course will be chosen after B.Sc or BCA degree
This is a 3 year course and each year, there will be 2 semesters.
There will be 5 theory papers and 2 software labs in each semester in first year.
There will be internal and external marks for all the theory and lab papers

Yes BCom student can also do MCA if you have interest in in computer and programming skills. I will suggest you that bcom and MCA both are different stream courses. MCA is a a professional course for which minimum eligibility is graduation in any stream or BCA. But this eligibility can be very from one university to another University. So before applying you must check University eligibility criteria.
