MDU Rohtak, MCA / PGDCA / APGDCA - 1st Semester Papers

MDU Rohtak offers three years MCA (Masters of Computer Applications)/PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications)/APGDCA (Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) courses to the eligible candidates. There are five papers in the 01st semesters that the candidates have to pass. The names of each of them are:

•    MCA-01/PGDCA-0l/APGDCA-01: Foundation Course in IT And MS-Office-2000
•    MCA-02/PGDCA-02/APGDCA-02: Computer Networking & Multimedia
•    MCA-03/PGDCA-03/APGDCA-03: Programming in C and Data Structure
•    MCA-04/PGDCA-04/APGDCA-04: Computer Organisation and Architecture
•    MCA-05/PGDCA05/APGDCA-05: Practical-I (Based on PGDCA-01 & 03)

Each of the paper have a maximum of one hundreds marks, having a duration of three hours. Out of these one hundred marks, seventy five marks are offered for the theory paper, and twenty five marks are allotted for Internal Assessment, out of which fifteen marks are for assignment and ten marks for test. Candidates are advised to go through different mock test prior to appearing in the exam. There are both long types as well as short type questions offered in the question of each of the paper. Candidates should also follow suggestion in order to secure high marks in the papers.
